Sarah Turnbull joined Ofcom in July 2005 as Legal Director responsible for legal advice on competition, consumer and regulatory enforcement. Sarah is now Head of the Legal Team at Ofcom responsible for managing the Ofcom legal team. Sarah was previously in the EU and Competition Department at SJ Berwin in London advising on EU and UK competition law. Sarah has also worked in the EU and Competition Department of Lovells, Brussels and in DG Competition at the European Commission. Sarah has been involved in a range of cases before the UK and EU Competition Authorities and the UK and European Courts. Recent cases include Floe v Ofcom and IMS v Ofcom before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and then the Court of Appeal.
